Day 1

Moab, April 12-15

The Journey begins...  here we are pulling out of the driveway! We left Thursday afternoon, the rest of the Byg family joined us on Friday.

Jansyn and Deryn posing for pictures on our Friday Morning Hike.... we attempted to hike Fisher Towers.  We are not sure we made it to the right spot, but it was beautiful!

Jansyn exploring on her own ... she was very excited it was a "climbing hike" and not a "walking hike".  She managed to get back down on her own.

Some crazy rock climbers on the very top.... we saw them move their arms, so they are real!  Too scary for me, but I am impressed.

That's as high as we go.....

Next stop was the ghost town, Cisco.  Since I am a mail carrier, I took a picture of the post office.

Next, we met the rest of the family at the visitors center.

 We hiked Balanced Rock...

 Sand Dune Arch..... oops forgot to take a picture of the arch.  Had too much fun taking pictures of the kids in the sand.

 We ended our day at the Bar-M Chuckwagon where we watched a gunfight, ate way too much delicious food, and were well entertained with music and skits.
