Last week, we got an unexpected date night! Our kids had a sleepover at their cousins house (thanks Stephanie & Andrew) and we had the night to ourselves!
We got to watch the Office 1 hour special un-interrupted! No kids at the door:)
Then we went to the 9:45pm showing of The Time Travelers Wife....
it was very weird to be going to a movie so late - felt like we were sneaking out or something!
The movie was great and we were excited to finish the story finally!
Many years ago we started listening to this story in the car when we traveled. The CD is very long and has a lot of language that the movie didn't have.... so, pretty soon our kids got too old for us to listen to this on trips because they were always with us.
Anyway, long story short, we watched the movie and finally know the ending to the story.
It was a well done love story - very enjoyable to watch.
