Here is some of her art work!
For this project they received a small wood box and some clay with which they needed to make an animal & animal habitat. Deryn won first place in this category. Everyone loved the roly poly penguins!
Fireworks in the city! They used black paper, glitter, and chalk for this project!
Paper Mache Shoes! Each student designed and created their own shoe.... Deryn's is a "Car shoe" complete with wheels and a driver.
Splatter painting sprinkler scene... each person drew their water scene and then splattered blue paint to look like water.
The next two pictures were made after studying the artist Klimt. Lots of his work involves ornate blankets... so, at christmas time each student drew the baby Jesus in a Klimt style blanket.
Klimt also uses a lot of Gold in his pictures.... hence, the gold dress! 
This picture was done after studying the artist Ted Harrison - he has a very fun & unique style.
Hey! Jansyn has a picture in the show too! She got to go to art one day when I didn't get home in time from work! This is her picture of our family.
