MESA VERDE

For Spring Break we went to Durango Colorado. While we were there we spent a day in Mesa Verde. What an incredible experience! If you have never been there, you are missing out. It is Pueblo indian ruins. As you are walking down the trail and round a bend, you suddenly have the view in the picture above .... it is just amazing! Imagine being the person to discover this! We got to go right down to it. Some parts you are allowed to go in and other parts are blocked off so they won't be ruined.
This was a great day! The girls had a lot of fun exploring.

Here are Mike and Jansyn peeking through a window!

Here are Deryn and Jansyn enjoying the train ride through the Narrow Gauge

Our self posed family picture!

We had a great time on this vacation and enjoyed spending time together as a family. We rented an adorable studio apartment, we spent time riding bikes, playing games, hiking and just being together! We attended an Easter Egg hunt in the snow and came home with tons of chocolate eggs from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (one of the sponsers). We went swimming at the Rec Center (and you have to love when the highlight of the trip for your kids is something you could have done at home! ... like swimming at the rec center!)
