Labor Day Campout

Labor Day weekend we went camping at camp Tifie which is one of the scout camps.  This weekend is reserved for the employees, so we saw lots of Grandpa's co-workers.  Little Grandpa reserved the Porcupine campground for us this year.

We enjoyed swimming, hikes and walks, card games, and delicious cookies!
Some people did homework, and some of us got to read for fun...
It was also nice that the pool was heated this year!

A memorable moment while we were playing a card game was this:

Jansyn: Marc, does your name have a "C" in it?

Marc:  Yes it does

Jansyn:  Someone, with a "c" in their name just took my play...

Mom, Thanks for the excellent potato salad & baked beans... sorry you couldn't come this year.

Marc, thanks for the delicious, oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies.  The oreo buffet was also quite delicious.

Deryn, good job making your orange creme cookies.  Good thing you took those cooking classes!
