Thank goodness for Pinterest, because Deryn wanted a polar bear birthday cake and I wasn't sure how I was going to make that happen! The cake would have been really cute with coconut for fur, but the birthday girl doesn't eat coconut.

She opened her presents from us before the extended family came over. She really wanted her own vacuum, a new laundry basket, and cleaning supplies. Vacuums are a bit pricey, but we got the turquoise laundry basket she picked out, and her aunts took care of the cleaning supplies.
